＊本曲『Alien Landing ♪』のみ映画本編では使用されておらず、公開時にはボツ（唯一予告篇では使用された）扱いになっていたのですが、2013年になり実際に劇伴として採用された音楽＝『カート･ソベル作曲版』と、当時ボツとなってしまっていた本動画音楽＝『ジェリー･ゴールドスミス作曲版』の両方を完全収録した『Alien
Nation: The Used & Unused Scores』という２枚組ＣＤが限定発売され、一般へのお披露目としては其処で初めて本曲の全様が明らかになりました。
The track "Alien Landing ♪" was not used in the final cut of
the film and was effectively discarded at the time of its release (though
it did appear in the trailer). However, a limited-edition two-disc set
titled *Alien Nation: The Used & Unused Scores* was released in 2013;
this collection featured both the music actually adopted for the film—composed
by Curt Sobel—and the music that had been rejected—composed by Jerry Goldsmith—thereby
revealing the full scope of this track to the public for the first time. |
