The KIMONO'S history goes back to 1,500years. Court ladies dressed in KIMONO. In the mid-17th century (Edogidai),ordirary people were permitted to wear them. KIMONO can be used as a wedding dress or full dress. KIMONO are expensive ceremonial dress which can be handed down from mother to daughter.(Silk 100%) 170cm x 135cm

 
1.SIKISOUKA SENMEN-CHIRASHI $850
Good luck flowers a peony,a chrysanthemum,a plum and a maple are drawn as pattern on fans. Specially,a peony is the most noble flower. The main pattern is drawn on the left corner of this KIMONO. This is a first class KIMONO that's designed with basic sense, it will feel soft to the touch.


 
2.GOSHOGURUMA $1,200
This is a gorgeous FURISODE-KIMONO. The basic colors are black, red and gold. GOSHOGURUMA means oxcart for the nobility from the 8th century. The main pattern is an oxcart with splendid flowering plants. FURISODE-KIMONO is a full dress for unmarried girls, a big peony shows her beauty. Embroider pattern of peony on the left corner.


 
3.HISHO $750
TSURU, which are called "happy bird" are hovering in the sky. TSURU is a migratory bird. When the winter comes, they fly in from Siberia. TSURU is also symbol of Japan Air Lines. There are patterns of waves in the hem line at the bottom of this KIMONO. This is a FURISODE-KIMONO it is the most formal costume for unmarried girls.


 
4.CHIKURIN $950
A pattern of bamboo woods. Bamboo was a popular as a happy tree from days of old. The leaf of bamboo are painted with gold dust and white leaves called GOFUN, are painted with shell dust. This way of drying white is unique to the rest of the world.


 
5.SARASA-KOMON $800
This pattern of Calico came from Southeast Asia and India. Japan tradad with these countries from the 8th century till the middle of the17th century, Calico got a regular position as a pattern for KIMONO at this time. This type has many small patterns allover. we call it KOMON.
