　２月２２日以来の第３戦を迎えた「MSL F200 Champion Ship Round 3」は再びシャパラル・サーキットで熱戦が繰り広げられました。優勝は、同じ日にCAN-AM第２戦も制したウエルッシュ小儀氏で第１戦の優勝と合わせて１８ポイントを稼ぎシリーズでも総合２位をゲット、追い上げモードとなってきました。２位には第１戦２位、第２戦優勝と波に乗る親分こと田所博史氏が入り、総合でのトップを何とか堅持。F200レースにおいては小儀氏にまけられないぞと言わんばかりの走りでありました。また、３位にはこれまたレンタカーで出場の往年の下町のスーパースター“菊池　勉”氏がアグレッシブな走りで入りこれからの乱戦を予想させる展開となりました。
このレースにはCAN-AMにも出場した野村氏の他に中学生の中野君も飛び入り出場し３世代混合レースという様相で和気藹々のF200レースでありました。
